Dunwich,
Suffolk

Dunwich.jpg

The text used for my Guidl tour around Dunwich was adapted from an walk I originally laid out in a You Tube Coffee Walk video.

Dunwich is a wonderful coastal village and many people focus on what was lost here, rather than enjoying what is still to be seen. It's not a long walk, but can be extended by enjoying some of the surrounding countryside on Dunwich Heath. Much of the information I've used in making this tour came from information boards around the town. Additional resources are linked below. Information about the war dead I cover in the latter points came from my own research using Ancestry, Find My Past, British Newspaper Archive, and the National Archives.
